"Small Art is Beautiful – Dharma » by Fabrice Bousteau This year, BEIRUT ART FAIR is inviting contemporary Indian artists. From Delhi to Bombay, the Indian pavilion “Small Art is Beautiful – Dharma” curated by International art curator Fabrice Bousteau, puts at the forefront small-format works revolving around the theme of the Dharma wheel. The exhibition presents the transformations of an artistic scene, which is constantly growing, changing and evolving, expressive and lively, strong and fragile, active particle and constituent power of the world of contemporary art at the same time. |

Video Projects : « Body Politics » by Silke Schmickl BEIRUT ART FAIR « video projects » is an invitation to watch the most striking works of video-makers of the ME.NA.SA region. Silke Schmickl is the director and co-founder of Lowave. A leading editor in experimental cinema and video art for the past 10 years, Lowave has grown to constitute a curatorial platform of research in the field of moving images. Body Politics is a programme consisting of a series of art films that explores how contemporary artists comment on current political and social issues by means of their own bodies or those of others. |

FOCUS ON ENGRAVING with Fadi Mogabgab & BankMed support The public will have the opportunity to discover the art of engraving thanks to the workshop conceived by Fadi Mogabgab in collaboration with BankMed. This workshop is the first of its kind in Lebanon. It invites artists to discover the different techniques: the dry point, the aquatint, the etching, the Carborundum, etc… |

BYBLOS BANK AWARD For the last three years, Byblos Bank has proudly dedicated itself to the support of Photography, as part of its broader mission to revive culture and arts in Lebanon.
