Expert  at the CNES (National Chamber of Chartered Specialized), and specialist in contemporary Chinese creation. He has also been cultural attaché of the French Embassy in Paraguay from 1978 to 1980. He contributed in introducing contemporary Chinese artists in private collections of Europe.

Co-director of the Loft Gallery in Paris from 1999 to 2007, he is an independent curator for museums and foundations. He is the author of numerous books including, among other, «Paris Pékin Espace Cardin», Paris 2002 with Johnson Chang et al.
